On Saturday, April 16 from 6-8PM, Azra Silverstein, Or Shalom and JQT co-hosted an energetic journey of ritual, release, and rebirth under the full moon. This queer-oriented, earth-based, feminist seder was intended to create a personal and collective experience of movement through constrictive spaces in our lives to a place of opening and awakening. Reflecting on the themes of this shmita year, we drew on traditional and contemporary components of the seder with a Jewitch twist, including an innovative Tarot-inspired haggadah. A vegetarian kosher for Pesach dinner was provided with vegan options.
